Friends of Community Arts Council cleaned up in the “Most Creative or Unique Garden” category for the City’s annual Green Streets Awards. Chloe Bennett and Ella Cooper both were awarded. This contest pits “circles against circles; bulges against bulges”.
Here’s the description of their garden:
This garden is very personalized and is uniquely distinctive from other street gardens. It includes elements of garden art, ornamentation or creative expression that reflect the personal touch of the gardener or it uses plants in a creative way that makes it distinctively memorable.
