Summary
The Fundraising Committee`s key role is to research and write grant applications including:
- Maintain an online and hardcopy binder with current Grant guidelines and application forms
- Maintain files of previously submitted grant applications
- Keeping an excel file to track opportunities, deadlines, approvals and reports due
- Review feedback from grant applications and makes notes of lessons learned
- Report monthly to the board and annually to the Annual General Meeting
As additional tasks, the committee may explore special events, direct mail and other approaches to fundraising.
