Ella says: Most of our art has returned to the earth or now taken out of the space. The purple kale and rainbow chard that were part of the Street Permaculture experiment grew to hip height! and the salad greens became gigantic, plus some local birds helped us plant some lovely poppies as well – turns out the hot concrete and the neighbours irigation system make for excellent growing conditions. Also the seedbomb sculpture making was definitely a highlight and the illustrated storybook in the mail box created by artist Sharon Wherland.
It’s been a wonderful community art garden experiment and I look forward to new adventures in the spring!
