On behalf of the entire CACV Board and Executive Director, Kristin Cheung, we are thrilled to announce Shannon Goodman as our new Program Manager.
Shannon Goodman is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with 5 years experience working in arts and nonprofits. Shannon is passionate about building long lasting relationships with local communities and working alongside underrepresented groups to create programming that provides a welcoming and creative environment for all to thrive.
Originally from Ontario, she now lives and works on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver. Shannon lives in the West End, where you can find her on frequent beach walks with her partner, and dog Pippin.
We are very excited to have Shannon join the Community Arts Council of Vancouver team and look forward to her leadership and development of current and future CACV festivals and community arts programs including the up-coming Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival and Reframing Relations workshops.
